Overview

Completing an integrated Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Hull, focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and how technology can support smarter decision-making across industries. Academic work combines technical depth with a practical understanding of how data and automation can drive efficiency and long-term value.


Alongside his studies, serves as a Student Trustee for Hull University Students’ Union. Contributing to strategic planning, financial oversight, and governance, ensuring the organisation remains focused on its mission while maintaining long-term stability. This experience has strengthened his ability to work across teams, manage risk, and support sustainable growth.

Working part-time as a qualified water sports instructor. While the role is hands-on and outdoors, it reflects his leadership, adaptability, and commitment to delivering safe, high-quality experiences.

Volunteering with The Scouts, both locally and nationally. In Hull, leading a Cubs section, supporting over 25 young people each week in building confidence and practical skills. Nationally, contriburing to the communications team, helping to promote the impact of Scouting across the UK through clear, data-informed messaging.

Final year, MEng computer sceince student at the University of Hull. Studying a range of cutting edge technical concepts including artificial intelligence, machine learning, object-oriented programing, databases and networking.

On-track to recive first class degree (Y1: 74%, Y2: 79%, Y3:74%)


Dissertation project looked at the use of computer vision and machine to improve saftey at commercial watersports centers. Final application utilises python, open CV and ASP.NET to project a full stack application capable of detecting PPE useage.

Supporting academic journeys

Student trustee responsible for ensuring the overall charity continues to serve the needs of our members while ensuring long-term financial stability. To do this, i am/have:

As a qualified wakeboarding instructor and RLSS-certified open water lifeguard, I bring a strong foundation in safety leadership and dynamic response. I’m adept at navigating fast-paced, high-pressure environments involving multiple stakeholders, consistently applying a risk-first mindset to identify and mitigate potential hazards early.

My certification as a first aider complements my ability to deliver results under stress, while my approach to safety is rooted in creative problem-solving and clear decision-making.

As part of my role with the Scouts, I support counties across the UK in improving their local media presence by developing scalable, volunteer-friendly resources.

This includes a pioneering media perception dashboard, the first of its kind in the movement. It enables local Scout volunteers to monitor how they’re represented in regional press coverage.

The dashbaord leverages advanced data analytics, including artificial intelligence, to surface insights and trends, all delivered through the Google Looker platform for intuitive access and usability.
